Classes
Class Schedules

We are presently teaching several classes on gardening: building of
the beds, planning & planting, canning, cooking, etc.

Classes start the first Saturday in January and continue until
Thanksgiving. There are a few exceptions and we do limit the
number of participants because of the “hands-on” part of the class,
so please call to reserve your space.

Total for both classes are $50.00 per person. If your spouse or
another family member attends with you, their cost is half-price
($25).

You only need the first two to get started with your own Garden of
Eden. These two classes are on the same day; one in the morning,
one in the afternoon, usually on Saturday. We will hold classes for
special groups on other days including Sundays and Holidays. If
you are not a group and you cannot come on Saturday, then we can
integrate you into one of these special classes.

The classes start at 9 A.M. and are usually over by 3 P.M.

The first class is a hands on class where you will participate in the
actual building of a typical 4’ X 16’ bed. This includes: Layout,
constructing the blocks, mixing of the growing medium, and filling
of the bed.

Time for lunch. Everyone brings a sack lunch. We have the drinks
for you.

The afternoon class covers the planning and the planting of this type
of garden. (We don’t do rows anymore.)

Last phase of the day is spent in pricing and ordering the materials.

You will receive a booklet with the full process of constructing
your beds including a list of all materials, formulas, drawings,
pictures, etc.

We have RV hookups for those of you who wish to come in on the
day before your class. There is also a motel just 10 minutes from us
for those who don’t have an RV.

After taking the class, anyone who wishes to come back at anytime
and actually participate in the planting, harvesting, watering,
fertilizing, canning, etc. is welcome to do so.

Keep in mind that we are only 40 minutes from Branson, MO and
you may want to make it a gardening vacation and take in some
beautiful Ozark areas at the same time.

I guarantee that you will have a wonderful time while you are here
and you will not be disappointed.
